RapidConnect Improves Timely and Accurate Communication for ACO Case Managers

Raleigh, N.C. March 05, 2019 – MD Interconnect today announced new Queued Messaging enhancements to its RapidConnect Secure Messaging platform. The enhanced queued messaging functionality was developed to address the needs of ACO case managers and care advisors, for more timely and accurate information. These enhancements demonstrate the company’s commitment to delivering customer-driven improvements to RapidConnect that positively impact the day-to-day job satisfaction of clinicians, help control costs and measurably improve patient care and satisfaction.

Case managers and care advisors are a critical resource in today’s ACOs, as they seek to improve the health of managed populations while controlling costs. A case manager’s ability to provide impactful intervention is often dependent on his or her ability to get timely feedback from collaborative providers in the ACO. Queued Messaging helps WKCC case managers better leverage access to the hundreds of PCPs already engaged on RapidConnect throughout the WakeMed network, without interrupting days off and/or hours away from work. The sender of a queued message retains complete visibility into the status of a message and has the opportunity to engage other resources, if time is of the essence.
